From Isolation to Inclusion: Crafting a Compassionate Community Together.

We believe that inclusivity is the cornerstone of a strong community and through our efforts, we aim to unlock the full potential of every individual, creating a more compassionate and equitable world.

Our Impact

WHO WE WORK WITH

We identify and work with adults with disabilities who are unable to find employment in the community due to their complex needs and those in other marginalising situations.

In partnership with grassroots organizations, we aim to impact regions with a high density of such individuals who have minimal access to quality rehabilitation and care.

HOW WE DO THIS

We harness the potential of those we work with by empowering them with artistic skill sets that evolve them into artisans. This will enable them to create and contribute to the world sustainably, not add on to the load of bulk consumerism.

Our maiden unit at Thogaimalai in Karur, Tamil Nadu has blossomed into a skilled unit of artisans who print and colour with natural materials and dyes.

WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS

We are treading towards making each unit empowered enough to function and operate as an independent and sustainable cooperative.

We want to build a global audience and market for the unique, bespoke handcrafted products built with conscious thought, in partnership with our community of artists and designers.

Organisation for Development Action (ODA) is our local implementing partner, working closely with us to support and organise our work at the grassroots. ODA was established in 2003 to promote community-based rehabilitation (CBR) efforts for persons with disabilities and other marginalised populations facing poverty and social inequality in rural settings, under the leadership of Mr. L. Lobithas.
